1146494 2010-10-20 18:56:00 Just want some opinions about the use of images or articles that get C/P'd and posted to sites like here .

I always send and include full disclosure unless I have paid for those rights and by sublimation, they are mine anyway .

Anyone got any thoughts?

1146495 2010-10-20 19:06:00 If you want to post nude Playboy Bunnies on here SJ ... there are rules about minors being able to veiw them .... much better to send them to me via a PM  SP8's (9836)
1146496 2010-10-20 19:10:00 Which jurisdiction SJ - ours or yours? The rules are somewhat different; we don't have the DMCA here, and therefore also don't have much of the fair-use stuff written into US law. Erayd (23)

I posted about marauding bunnies already - did you miss it?

Interesting point - and since this site is international in action, if not in scope - where does that go?

We have fair go, fair enough and fair suck of the sav .

I'm invoking 'Go For Yourself' .

1146499 2010-10-20 19:19:00 It possibly means that you can use it ... as long as you're not making money off it. But as Erayd says, depends on whether your in upside down land or downside up land. No doubt there will be some obscure law written somewhere that relates to internet use ... but you'd have to find it first ... they'd have to catch you second ... and you'd probably get a slap over the wrist with a wet bus ticket being a first time offender.

However, ignorance is no defence in law.

You may have to cope with both at once (because this is an NZ-hosted site), but I'm guessing here, I don't know. Erayd (23)

Can't I just apply some Boolean algebra here and say that one of your laws plus one of my laws equals NO laws?
