I have a desktop that I do all my printing from and its connected to the Internet and a wireless laptop that is also connected to the Internet, so what do I have to do so I can print from my laptop? Can I put a wireless card in the desktop? Do they make USB wireless cards for desktops? This is all new to me. |

You can get wireless for laptops and desktop. You have to buy a wireless adapter (PCI or USB) for the desktop. Since the laptop already has it. Then configure both. What version of windows is on both? |

If both are connecting via the same router then they are both connected to the same LAN already, so you DON'T need to buy a wireless card for the desktop!
Just share the printer on the desktop and connect to it from the lappy. |
