1187191 2011-03-18 04:46:00 Hi there,
Twice in one day.
After reading one of the posts today I thought I would run SAS. It came up with 57 items which I quarantined. No problems.
However, on scanning again it came up with a registry problem "System.BrokenFileAssociation.Setting".
Needless to say when I try to quarantine this it won't go away.
Is there someone who can help me?
Thanks in advance.
Rob

1187192 2011-03-18 05:10:00 Looks like it was fixed in a May 2010 database update

forums.superantispyware.com

But its come back. Must be a bug or false +. Dont worry about it

1187193 2011-03-18 05:22:00 Thanks Speedy,
Yes I looked at that forum as well. Not much help to me though as I couldn't post on it.
I am curious as to why you would say it is a bug or false + - how can you say that with confidence? Not meaning to doubt your superior knowledge of such things but I would have thought that as it has been fixed in may 2010 shouldn't it stay fixed??
Thanks for your attention.

1187196 2011-03-18 05:52:00 No probs. Someone in that post said its a false+. I think if you delete it, it'll remove file assocs. I think thats what that fix exe file is for. I dont know. Ive never used Superantispyware Speedy Gonzales (78)
1187197 2011-03-18 08:35:00 Unfortunately SAS doesn't remove it so you need to have a work around and I don't want to go fooling with the registry 'cause I am sure to muck something up. theother1 (3573)
1187198 2011-03-18 08:36:00 Leave it there Speedy Gonzales (78)
