Also, applying the same receipe to portable hard drives are they still applicable or not practical enough with the many GBs? Cheers . |

| 1187070 | 2011-03-18 00:21:00 | So, you are looking for something that needs a password maybe so that if you were to lose your USB stick, I wouldn't be able to view your documents, porn, music, bank statements etc..........? You could encrypt the whole stick with something like TrueCrypt if that is the direction you want to go. Or are you looking at this from another angle. |

| 1187071 | 2011-03-18 01:07:00 | Yes, TrueCrypt is FTW. You could have the first partition that's like 20MB, JUST for TrueCrypt. Then, have a hidden partition that's TrueCrypt encrypted! I wouldn't use anything *but* TrueCrypt personally, for that kind of thing. It's amazingly awesome!! :D |
