| 1148077 | 2010-10-27 05:56:00 | Well had my appointment today with the specialist just after 5pm, see this thread (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz). The upshot is at this point he doesn't think there is any extra damage but to go back to work on reduced hours and light duties (how I am supposed to get light duties in my workplace I don't know), have physio and go back in 6 weeks. If it is still playing up then he will send me for an MRI scan. In the meantime he has told me I do need to find a non physical job, in the current climate that's not going to be easy. | gary67 (56) | ||

| 1148080 | 2010-10-27 06:20:00 | I'm just waiting on clinical trials of a new procedure to be completed in Oz .... they're trying to replicate a Chinese study where they inject Methylene Blue into the disc .... kills all the nerve endings which grow into the disc tear ... pain gone ... Maybe. |
