1147908 2010-10-26 22:57:00 And about bloody time too. Just heard they got served/slapped with an injunction.

download.limewire.com

Which I find hilarious.

How about the rest of you?
I'm all for file sharing... but breaking copyrights to the degree that limewire does?

1147909 2010-10-26 23:05:00 Limewire was invented for file sharing, file sharing is not illegal we all do it, there is nothing wrong with sharing a music audio tape you made but it is the users who abuse it by uploading/downloading pirated stuff. I saw sue the users too. forums12345 (15197)

Wrong - we don't all do it.

1147911 2010-10-26 23:16:00 Now they've just got to get injunctions for all the other file sharing sites .... China may pose a problem though .... and of course it'll take time for new injunctions to go through the courts to stop all the new file sharing sites that pop up when the likes of Limewire and others get knobbled ... 1147913 2010-10-26 23:19:00 Good. Although it'll mean less work for the techs. It is/was one hell of an infection vector.

BTW speedy, what happened to the avatar?

1147914 2010-10-26 23:22:00 While I don't file share I have been sorely tempted as I can't download music in .FLAC which I would like to as .MP3 for music in the house sucks gary67 (56)
1147915 2010-10-26 23:42:00 Interesting, as FrostWire have just released a version for Android. Wonder how long before FrostWire is taken out too! Chilling_Silence (9)
1147916 2010-10-27 00:46:00 Maybe they might come back re branded/paid format, like Napster (http://music.napster.com) (Their new site). kahawai chaser (3545)
1147917 2010-10-27 01:33:00 I'm all in favour of any site that allows me to download one music track at the expense of having to download/purchase a whole CD of 21 other tracks of rubbish - sans trojans, viruses etc of course :) Zippity (58)
