1147669 2010-10-26 04:17:00 Pleaded guilty to Manslaughter today. He was 12 at the time. So let's start kicking younger people up the tail end before it gets that far maybe!

There was more to it than what was published that story.

There was an argument about a knife before the rifle went off. You may well ask too why a high power rifle was in the hands of a 12 yr old.

Yeah, what the hell is that all about! Parents give bad example and kids have no respect! Not the way normal people behave. A few more kicks up bums may or may not help. Makes one think that all parents are stupid these days.

I'm sorry, you can't do that it's now unlawful! :angry

Maybe hold the parents responsible for their children until they're 21 like they used to. ;)

1147672 2010-10-26 08:38:00 In Masterton we had two 11 year olds trash a section of a cemetery and then tried a bit of arson doing 1/2 a mill of damage. Maybe the parents need to be held responsible for the little buggers antics. mikebartnz (21)
1147673 2010-10-26 09:26:00 Yep saw that too. Also, in my opinion, if a kick up the tail or a clip around the ear at a young age helps stop shootings and arson then I'm all for it.

Before the PC brigade jump in for a troll then let me assure you I don't condone beating kids to death. I would rather reserve that sort of action to use on parents who just should not have kids in the first place.

1147674 2010-10-26 09:29:00 Well put. The whole anti smacking law was put there to prevent child abuse. I'm all for protecting kids against abuse, but it's been taken too far and now we have parents who are too scared to even tell their kids off in case they end up in court for it... and yes some people should simply not have kids.
