1149644 2010-11-02 01:30:00 I only ask 'cos our local council is very backwards about coming forward to promote. I was only reminded about it by a small by-line in one of the local "Free" papers and that was put there by the District council next to us!. Apparently you can take along all the usual crap including modems, but for some reason they're not taking old TV's.

Given that this is a National Day, and the amount of toxic and re-claimable stuff there is in all this gear, there are still heaps of people in this area that know nothing about it or the issues involved.

What's it like where you are? :badpc:

Looks like they are dropping it down to two sites (Instead of three).

North Shore and Manukau City.

I volunteered and have my time, but it will clash with PCTeks move and the Four Nations game at Eden Park...

That would be handy, I see plenty of LCD monitors going in there that I could make some good use of.

we got a letter from someone in masterton to say that there is one on, was one last year in Wellington but no word of one this year
