The board in question stated that the "correct spelling is with an H, the minister in charge has stated that either spelling can be used, but the change has not been passed into law. The official spelling is still Wanganui and all those using an H are wrong, and those pronouncing the H are even more so. Having said that, Once the change has been made official the entire fiasco will still be wrong. |
