| 1149713 | 2010-11-02 19:40:00 | The transition from 1 to 2 was painless,I thought. The transition from 1 to 2 was confusing for a lot of people. Devices were labeled as USB2 but still ran at USB1 speeds. Only USB2-Highspeed devices actually ran at full speed. Thank god they all use the same connector and are backwards compatible :D |

But I digress ... autechre: Indeed, worst was USB1.0 vs 1.1 ... when some devices were just labelled as "USB". It's like "Well, how fast do you actually transfer at??" |
