| 1188412 | 2011-03-22 06:59:00 | Error message "Windows Defender encountered an error : 0x000705b4. Seems the error was that it had timed out and was not responding. The op system is Vista Ultimate. Tried Microsoft, their advise was to delete it, download another copy and install it. But again it would not turn on, with an error message just as listed above. To me it would seem that the problem is local, but I don't know where to start to try and fix the problem. Any thoughts ? |

The following all seem to be OK, Security Center, Firewall, Regedit ,Task Manager, Malware protection, Other Security Settings, Windows Update, Internet Security Setting Zones, MS Security Essentials, UAC. Windows Defender - no HTH's |
