Apple have lost their marbles. :) There are Youtube vids of Apple announcing that price at a trade show(?) with less than favourable crowd reaction , a gasp from the crowd when the price is announced . www.youtube.com Now, the funny thing is , Apple are doing there best to have the YT vids of this crowds reaction to the price taken down. They get a YT vid taken down, another pops up . |

What they should have done is include the VESA adaptor, and the stand , then bump up the price to cover ACTUAL manufacturing cost of stand. No one is complaining about the price of the monitor . This is just bad publicity.... or is it :-) Company management , who write the cheques or have to give approvals for purchases, will be looking at Apple sideways , when confronted with requesitions for multiple $999 monitor stands . |
