1461064 2019-05-30 04:05:00 Hiya,

I would like to make a payment from an NZ account (ASB) to a JP Morgan Chase bank account in US (yes it is a legit account). What's the best way to do so?

Thank you.

1461066 2019-05-30 04:57:00 On the desktop or on the phone app you're basically doing a wire (telegraphic) transfer to the overseas bank. Their website etc .. should have the info, you need a bit more details than doing a money payment to someone else in NZ.

You can log onto internet banking right now, click overseas payment and it would tell you what details are required.

Edit - it seems like ASB's phone app does not support international transfer. You would need to use it on a computer. Under Foreign Exchange on the left side -> Send International Transfer.

.

I used to do this regularly when I had my bookshop. Except there was no internet banking then and I had to have the bank do it.
