| 1460909 | 2019-05-23 05:15:00 | Its amazing just how much data your fav Browser collects. People worry about Microsoft. Just found this hidden gem ( well never knew about it) IF you are using Chrome type in the address bar chrome://conflicts Modules loaded This page lists all modules loaded into the browser and renderer processes and modules registered to load at a later point. Third-Party Module Features Status The IncompatibleApplicationsWarning feature is enabled, while the ThirdPartyModulesBlocking feature is disabled. While its designed to show any conflicts it also shows just how much info CHROME collects ( hope no ones got any secret sites) ;) Google will sure know about them :) |

| 1460912 | 2019-05-23 06:29:00 | There's no need to worry about microsoft, just avoid it. Its not Microsoft I was referring to, it was only tongue in cheek in the title, meaning there's a lot worse companies collecting personal data. Chrome is a cross platform Browser, so doesn't matter what OS you use ( Windows, Linux or MAC - iOS) , chrome will still collect data about the user. |

Backdoors in OS's . We let it all happen, 1 step at a time Only ourselves to blame :badpc: Buy that Google, Amazon, Apple device that just sits in your homes, listening & waiting for your voice commands |

| 1460914 | 2019-05-24 02:17:00 | nah. It's so easy with google: 9626 Likewise Firefox, turn off all the remember stuff in settings and never have auto login, or cookies or anything. MS on the other hand, do their best to make it difficult for you to turn this stuff off. |

Dont believe that for a moment. Google still collect data about a person. If anyone believes that they dont they are fools. I unblocked B.M. to see what he posted, and the picture shown says it all. Got all that sort of thing turned off, but when going to another PC sure enough signs of previous activity. Mines also set to not record activity, but digging deep - going into show - Guess whats there ;) |

I think all the "smart" voice-operated TVs do that - sitting in the corner listening to EVERYTHING 24/7 and then sending every voice-sample overseas for analysis; just in case you said "TV - turn on" |

If you are using the internet, it is a public noticeboard. However, you can take steps to minimise this stuff. And remember, if you want it private, keep it off a PC (or other internet connected device) |
