| 1460873 | 2019-05-21 00:59:00 | SWMBO has gone visiting daughter, husband and new baby and left me on my own for the week. It's certainly very quiet with only two cats for company. Before she left I jokingly suggested that I have a sweet young thing call in to visit, but she laughed and said that I would not be able to keep up, let alone keep it up. She does not have a very good opinion of me, but then after 43 years I suppose she's getting to know me. So does anybody have any suggestions as to what to do while "the cat's away"? |

In my case curried sausages. Sounds silly but I really enjoyed it as an occasional treat. |

Let the laundry stack up to do once a week and have double espressos rather than a single shot each... | user (1404) | ||

What you do meantime is up to you "Meantime", start saving for all the new furnishings to replace the old stuff that got "ruined" when you screwed up the cleaning. Sheep stand in the rain without any lasting harm, how come a simple trip through the washing machine turns sheepskin rugs into lambskin mini-mats with a super dense pile? |

I have washed wool clothes in the washing machine. The trick is, don't do a hot wash. And don't put the item in a dryer. It's not the water that shrinks them, it's the heat. |
