2019-01-25 19:33:00 | Hi We'd like to put our children's photos into a slide show. Can you please recommend a good free slideshow maker that you have personally used? And one that doesn't put ads on your slides. Thanks in advance. Our system: W10 Open Office Firefox IrfanView

Open Search type in Photo Open the App, its not the most easiest to get around but it is reasonably good. One that I use, is Free or if you want more options you can get the paid version. The one I have used myself, is called Photo slideshow with Music. To get it go to the Windows store, type in Photo Slideshow: 9319 When you run it, it asks to buy /upgrade, but you click NO THANKS at the Bottom. There are some ads in the background, BUT it doesn't put any watermarks, ads etc on the finished product. 9320 There is another that I have used but the free version puts a logo on the bottm right hand corner, but may consider buying it one day, its easy to use. icecreamapps.com |

2019-01-25 22:38:00 | I knew there was another I had used in the past, Ashampoo Slide show Studio. Theres a giveaway Free version www.ashampoo.com Its also available on shareware on sale (free) sites sharewareonsale.com Not to sure what the differences are between the two. BUT there's no watermarks, time limitations or any thing. the ONLY problem with Ashampoo software, it adds in a customer service pop up when you first open the program(s) but you just close it. By right clicking a picture once added it gives options, transitions timing etc. Got Several Ashampoo softwares installed they work really good. :)

2019-01-25 23:40:00 | If you want to see what Ashampoo Slide show 2017 does, here's a very quick example, just added some of Microsoft's Wallpapers as pictures (free spotbright Collection), added in a audio track, everything else is untouched, no fiddling with transitions, NO altering anything, so there's a LOT more you can alter. EVERYTHING is default. :) ufile.io (download Version)

2019-01-26 06:02:00 | Someone noted that IrfanView has a well hidden "create a slideshow" option, accessed via the toolbar. So I tried that. It's simple but it works. For example, it has no easy way to create text slides. You have to do that using paint. However, I will still investigate the more sophisticated options suggested in this forum. Thanks.
