1460897 2019-05-23 01:41:00 Still waiting for either of my PCs to get the updated even after mashing the check for updates button. pcuser42 (130)
1460898 2019-05-23 02:15:00 MS generally slowly stagger the updates. Just run the update assistant (go.microsoft.com) if you really want it now. wratterus (105)
1460899 2019-05-23 02:25:00 I prefer to wait for it to happen on it's own, rushing to apply these updates is how you fall prey to the undocumented features (bugs). dugimodo (138)
1460900 2019-05-23 03:35:00 I prefer to wait for it to happen on it's own, rushing to apply these updates is how you fall prey to the undocumented features (bugs) . While that's true a certain degree, its not always the case like older days ( XP, Vista, 7 etc)

These versions have been out for awhile now . 1903 for example has been used since march with any known showstopper bugs already sorted, there are thousands of people using it(them) and trust me they will jump really quick if somethings found . One example was a scheduled update was due out, 2 minutes late and you think ww3 had begun . ( this is one of the reasons it wasn't released earlier a few minor bugs sorted) .

Been using 1903 on all the PC's here and several customers who wanted it for since April . ONLY problem -- Someone ( wont say who ) :D installed something that they should have known better

That's one of the good things I forgot about .

Windows Sandbox - its available on Pro and above, its a VM inbuilt that you can test software, if it turns to custard so what . When you close the program it wipes the VM .

Its not like another VM who you first have to install the OS, then if it buggers it, either fix it or reinstall it again .

Heres what i'm referring to - Windows inbuilt Sandbox - right after it starts:

1460901 2019-05-23 04:46:00 That Sandbox could be really useful :drool pcuser42 (130)
1460902 2019-05-23 06:35:00 That Sandbox could be really useful :drool Yeah it is . On this PC I completely forgot it was there . Wanted to try out an old program I found . You know when you have a gut feeling not to do something :devil- I even made a restore point before hand - Installed it -- OH CRAP :waughh: :crying:crying PC went bloody nuts, couldn't even boot into safe mode . <Insert a few swear words>

Spent the next couple of hours fixing the problem .

Just to try (on a workshop PC) tried it in Sandbox, again the VM went Raspppppppp :badpc: . Which was fine, closed Sandbox - Problem gone / Deleted .

1460903 2019-05-27 10:26:00 Win10 ver 1903 update still not available for 3 of home PCs. Shall I (or shall I not) use the Update Assistant to do it manually or just wait for it to come through? bk T (215)
