1457476 2019-01-21 01:55:00 Win 10 desktop mouse pointer not travelling as smoothly as usual. Lagging, disappearing momentarily, and unstable. I checked insertion in usb slot and itseems ok. What to try next? Krad (7878)
1457477 2019-01-21 02:11:00 Try plugging into a different port, or rebooting the PC.
Check the sensor on the bottom for bit's of fluff or tiny hairs.

Mine acts really erratically every now and again because it somehow finds just the right sized piece of hair to sit across the sensor and flick back and forth.

1457478 2019-01-21 02:22:00 Try a different mouse. That could well be what is causing the connection disconection problem in your other post. CliveM (6007)
1457479 2019-01-21 02:34:00 Its Mr Microsoft tracking and then actually stealing your mouse movements. MS dont track data, just your mouse movements .
Nothing to see here, move along . :)

otherwise, as above. Try another mouse or another USB port. Turn off power save on the USB ports (via device manager)
See if Win is trying to download/install updates at the time.

try using a blank A4 sheet of paper as a mousepad .

Is it a wireless mouse ? if so it may be getting interfence or need a new batt.
