| 1189879 | 2011-03-28 01:50:00 | I recently upgraded my computer' Previous computer had "Windows XP" and my printer is a hpdeskjet 5550. My new computer has "Windows 7 Professional" As there there appears to be no new driver available for the printer to work with Windows 7, the default driver in "Windows 7" does allow the printer to be used with "Windows 7" successfully, both in black and colour, but it will not print photographs taken from "Pictures" in colour even though colour is selected. Is there any was I can solve this problem. Thank you Ian G. McLeod |

| 1189880 | 2011-03-28 02:06:00 | theyre here (h10025.www1.hp.com) Install the drivers before you connect it / turn it on. You should always check the site, dont rely on windows for the drivers. Since windows may have the drivers, but they dont always work |

| 1189881 | 2011-03-28 06:51:00 | Actually, if you go through the process on that page, it defaults to the driver Win7 installed, so you're no better off. :eek: Does it come up with any error messages when you try to print photos? Possibly email HP? |
