1189638 2011-03-26 21:58:00 Hi all
I'm not a movie watcher at all though my partner is. Friends of us told her how easy it is to get(buy/download) movies through iMovie.
My partner is not a mac person and so I don't know what are good commercial movie sites with a broad and good quality range of movies.
What would also be a good client to watch those movies(Win7)?
Thanks

Buying movies through itunes pretty much ties you to watching it via itunes - this will work on windows 7.

To get away from a computer but still buy movies via itunes you can use teh apple tv.

For all it's faults - Apple is still the only place in NZ you can buy/rent movies for download. There is no other legal service in NZ.

thanks.
Itunes might have to do atm as we won't be into apple tv just yet.
Disapointing somehow that this industry(movies) hasn' got it sorted better.

Netflix seems to be USA only?

1189643 2011-03-27 07:10:00 Yes, this would be the problem, there are many cool services.....just none over here. Apart from buying dvds, renting, there is pretty much no online server here. No wonder everyone pirates. psycik (12851)

Hmm... through the small pipes coming accross the seas.
Aren't we a long way away.

So? I have a 40Gb cap - I'd pay $5 a movie if I could... It's the service that's missing.
