1189174 2011-03-25 01:06:00 My patience app seems to have gone all funny.

Clicking on the pack it flicks past1 or 2 times instead of just showing the top of next three cards ?

I have run everthing, malwarebites,Spybot and Ccleaner.

I hope I don't need a new install.

Thanks lads,once again

1189175 2011-03-25 01:20:00 Have you got a wireless mouse Cicero? Do the batteries need replacing?

Is your mouse button sticking and making patience deal twice instead of once?

Do you have a tremor in your mouse finger that keeps the button down?

None of the above John, I should add that the cards will not drag the first time.At least not every time.
All has been perfect till about a week ago.

1189178 2011-03-25 01:51:00 Well, given my level of computer expertise, I thought I would ask the simple questions to save time for the experts to ask the really tricky stuff... :D Glad you don't have tremors at least. John H (8)

+1

Mouse looks like the probable culprit to me

Problem appears to be with cards only.

Must buy a cheap 2nd mouse for testing.

I think you are right lads.

Have tried an old on and it works well.

All my mice are logitech and have let me down in about a year, do we recommend any other makes?

1189182 2011-03-25 03:01:00 Funny that, I had a Logitech keyboard and mouse combo back in its box in the cupboard, never to be used again until I donated the set to Molten Media...

I can't believe I am writing this, but we have two computers using Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse combos, and they have been with us for about four years without causing any problems...

Funnily enough I have a wee Belkin wireless mouse for use with my laptop because I don't like trackpads much (funnily enough because I think you have recently developed suspicions about that brand). It too has been faultless, but I wouldn't recommend it for regular use because it is so small I think you would get RSI.

So my suggestion is to go with a Microsoft wireless mouse, but be ready to spend money on batteries. Goodness me, I recommended a Microsoft product...

I have a cordless one on my laptop, or I would if I could find the tiny USB connection, wonder if I can get another?
I love wasting money on new kit, so will get the cordless Microsoft jobbie .
