The system you mentioned will draw nowhere near 500w (unless you start overclocking of course). My guess would be 350w tops under load...? (Would probably be less than this even) As others have mentioned, main thing is the quality of the PSU, a 450w corsair will be head and shoulders above a cheap generic 500w unit. Which means if you stick to cheap generic PSUs, you'll probably want at least a 650w... In fact you should just avoid cheap generic units all together. Saves the hassle of random parts in your PC dying a year down the track for no apparent reason... |

| 1189948 | 2011-03-29 08:23:00 | They told me I could purchase the cooler master + Corsair 650W Modular PSu for $374 and buy the PSU for that comes with the coolermaster for $50, So about $314 Just wondering though , The casing itself do support 1 fan and it comes with 1 fan at the front only. Is 1 fan enough or an extra one be more safe? Lastly Are liquid cooling Pcs expensive to build? |

| 1189949 | 2011-03-29 17:51:00 | Computer lounge gave me an alternative option Antec 300 + a Seasonic 520W and all the specs for $1599 That's fine. Go with them, they have the better reputation for after sales service too. Seasonic is good too. |

| 1189950 | 2011-03-29 19:07:00 | Not a good move. Most PSUs that come with a case are pretty crappy. Always choose your own PSU if you can and get a decent quality one. In this instance, 500W would be the absolute minimum - a 650W would give you a lot more headroom for any additional hard drives and graphics card upgrades. read again i'll even highlight what I said I said Without a PSU |
