Ripping your own DVDs for personal use is considered fair use under US law (but not sure about here). *runs from mods*It's morally OK, but technically illegal. There was an amendment to the copyright act that went through a while ago to allow this for music, but sadly they weren't far-sighted enough to include video as well. |

I have had the rare privelege of seeing this "off-line" life with my own eyes, but I quickly got lost when I couldn't find a start button anywhere... Who's taking book on how long jareemon will stays clean ... I give it a week ... 10days tops :D Well i deleted everything on the 4/11/2010 (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) so that's 12 days! I bet in a week or two, he will be kicking himself for deleting all of the stuff, and will probably try to recover it. I've so far been pretty comfortable with the whole thing... has given me the motivation to do some gardening and get off the computer... i noticed theres a permanent bum print in the computer chair :D |
