| 1190729 | 2011-03-31 03:47:00 | I've finnally got my dads old pc (i need to now change my sig) and it has a 256mb ATI radeon 9600. My main monitor which is a Samsung Syncmaster 740n is plugged into the vga port, and the second monitor is in the DVI port. The second monitor is fine. But no matter what settings i set on my main one, i cannot get the contrast to fix! and everything is too WHITE. how can i fix this? i've tried every option on the monitor, the latest ati driver is installed. it's really unbearable. |

| 1190732 | 2011-03-31 03:53:00 | I've adjusted to contrast etc.., but it hasn't done much. Is their a windows 7 driver for the monitor? as they are picking up as Generic Plug and play moniters. I never had this issue with my old 128mb ATI radeon 9600 in my old box. |

Samsung unfortunately does not offer any drivers or ICC profiles for this monitor I'm afraid. As speedy said, try an earlier driver. BTW, what port was it plugged in before? |

Get two monitors similar? |

| 1190735 | 2011-03-31 04:05:00 | when you used the 128MB radeon was the monitor plugged in via vga or dvi? | jackM (14814) | ||
| 1190736 | 2011-03-31 04:24:00 | It's plugged in the same as my old one. VGA for the samsung (Main) and the second monitor is connected into the DVI port using a VGA to DVI adapter. This was never an issue with the 128mb radeon, and this is the first time this issue has happend with this card, as it never did it when my dad used is 2 monitors. |
