1190019 2011-03-28 10:04:00 I've been away for a week and had my computer turned off at the wall during that time. I got back tonight, plugged it in and Bob's your uncle... until I tried to download all the photos I took last week. Initially it showed all the removable storage devices (two I have named - Nikon disk and Lumix disk) but when I put in the SD card and tried opening it to copy over the photos, it said the folder was empty. I tried again, but got the same response.

I rebooted the computer in the hope that would fix it but it didn't, so I did a system restore to a week ago - but that hasn't worked either.

I've got a Compaq Presario SR5065AN running Windows Vista Home Premium.

In case this has done something, I did load a new CD into iTunes and I did a HP system update that mentioned drivers...

Any advice, as it's driving me mad not being able to load my photos as I can't even get into the folders!

I've just tried connecting the camera using a USB cable and I can open the files and see the photos, so I've found a way around it, but I much prefer to just load the disks in the front and not have to muck around using cables, so I'd still appreciate any help. I'm using Photoshop and finding it incredibly slow too.
