1152936 2010-11-15 04:43:00 Just got my rego renewal notice.

ACC takes $198:46,is that a rort or what?

1152937 2010-11-15 04:49:00 It's what they take whether you like it or not and which is levied regardless of the actual risk you personally represent.

For example a Pensioner who uses his car once or twice a week to go down town pays the same as a travelling salesman who racks up a far larger of kilometers per year.

1152938 2010-11-15 04:58:00 Lucky you don't own a diesel car, cause you would be paying $417-73.
:)

1152940 2010-11-15 05:25:00 And it goes to pay for all the losers than drink and drive and ebnd up in hospital and on acc. Digby (677)
1152941 2010-11-15 05:38:00 Get a Motorbike or even scooter and then come back to complain about the cost of vehicle licensing.

Of course you could move to the UK and then complain even louder about the cost of motoring

Try 2 cars and a motorbike:annoyed:

And all the time ACC is rolling in millions upon millions of dollars while the Government tell us its broke and puts up fees.

Society is sick.

1152944 2010-11-15 06:09:00 Of course, its always been sick, and the common people have always been treated like crap. Metla (12)
1152945 2010-11-15 10:55:00 It's a case of the many subsidizing the few. In this case, ACC bludgers. Privatise it, they might get it right. Even if they screw it up, it'd still be hard to get it to the point where it is now. ubergeek85 (131)
