1190739 2011-03-31 05:48:00 you don't have any ATI profiles or settings edited do you?

Nomad: I've Looked through ATI settings, but it really hasn't helped much. The desktop and dvds seem to look fine, its just the internet browser which seems far to bright.

1190741 2011-03-31 06:10:00 How about your colour warmth? I've found that setting the colours to a certain K value can really make the whites unbearable.

My viewsonic's colour is 7500K, a bit yellow, but nice whites.

the only problem is, if you view one colour set and then change it to another, your eyes won't adjust properly to seeing the colours in their true light (lol)

I recommend changing the colour value to something that looks sort of right, turning away into neutral light for a while, then looking back to see if it looks nice, if not, change it back and repeat.

1190742 2011-03-31 07:07:00 If you swap which port the monitors are plugged in to, does the contrast/colour issue swap which monitor it's affecting? inphinity (7274)
1190743 2011-03-31 21:08:00 I have seen this a couple of times but not for quite a while now, some LCD monitors do this on some graphics cards - I had a philips monitor that worked perfectly on one pc but had way too much white on another and my friends samsung has a bit too much white on his machine but looks great on mine.

The problem followed the graphics card if I swapped it but it worked fine with other monitors. Adjustments could not compensate. Unfortunately I never resolved it, I just swapped my monitors around and the problem went away.

Maybe try swapping what output feeds what monitor or try a different driver but my suspicion is this monitor and graphics card just dont work well together.

1190744 2011-03-31 21:20:00 Have you tried resetting the monitor to the factory defaults? Bryan (147)
