All New Zealander’s are of mixed blood and the same rules should apply regardless of Colour, Class or Creed. Some of the Maori have just woken up to the fact that as the proposed law is drafted, if an Iwi gained control of an area, they would be in a position to prohibit other Iwi from access. There is also an issue of where exactly the exact boundaries would be set. Seems previous maps a hard to come by, but a bit of imagination will suffice. Tribal wars could be the next thing that this dumb legislation could be blamed for. :rolleyes: |
