LOL Speedy, Mrs T is the original technophobe, and to make matters worse, she lacks patience (I am tactfully understating the problem here). You should see her driving!! She likes to pretend she is in an F1 racecar and her right foot is made of lead (which is why she only has a 1.3 litre shooping basket).

For all that she is a very good and alert driver, but is better suited to tracked vehicles so that she can drive through or over anybody who gets in her way!

Cheers

1192274 2011-04-14 07:28:00 looks like "sneaky spam" to me - one "live" link to "Abacre Antivirus 1.0"

never heard of it - and have no wish to

1192275 2011-04-14 07:40:00 From one of the antimalware sites:

Abacre Antivirus description

Abacre Antivirus is fake security application distributed by Zlob, Vundo and other trojans. It may also be installed secretly as an extra of other fraudulent programs.

When on board a PC, AbacreAntivirus causes more trouble than simply loading annoying pop-ups and asking you to purchase the tool. It slows the computer down and it may hijack web browser.

Abacre Antivirus generates falsified security alerts trying to make an impression of legitimate program. Do not trust Abacre Antivirus and remove it as soon as possible.

Nice try :badpc:

1192276 2011-04-14 12:39:00 thanks for the info WT - was going to have a look for something about it this evening myself.

the actual post looked rather suspect to me, and when I checked the link and saw it was version "1.0" - that pretty much sealed the deal! lol :)
