1191468 2011-04-02 11:00:00 is this the only option i have to fix my computer?? and do i empty the virus vault or go through and delete each one. it also gives me the option to restore? why the heck would i want to restore a virus and malware to my computer? lol lankenjl (16306)
1191469 2011-04-02 11:03:00 Yup (I think if its in the vault it cant run), well I've never used AVG. Its had too many probs with its updates. Just empty the vault.. Speedy Gonzales (78)
1191470 2011-04-02 11:12:00 i haven't had to many problems with avg. im just not sure if it really does it's job with blocking viruses or even telling me when there is a virus. i cleaned out the vault. then i just tried x ing out of that delayed write file that pops up and it restarts my computer for some reason lankenjl (16306)
1191471 2011-04-02 11:19:00 i also did what you told me to do earlier and downloaded teamviewer in case i ever needed it. lankenjl (16306)
1191472 2011-04-02 11:20:00 Thats if you can get in it lol Speedy Gonzales (78)
1191473 2011-04-02 11:26:00 lol it let me download and install it and it gave me the id and password so it's working surprisingly. lankenjl (16306)
1191474 2011-04-02 11:29:00 On the one thats got the prob? Give me the ID and pw in a PM then Speedy Gonzales (78)
1191475 2011-04-02 11:47:00 Did it crash just then? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1191476 2011-04-02 16:28:00 just thought i would keep you a little updated. the scan has been going about two and half hours now and is only about a quarter of the way done. i like how it says on there: the first-time scan can take several minutes to complete please wait.. it's been...several minutes now lol. hopefully this scan you started will fix the problems and restore my computer. lankenjl (16306)
1191477 2011-04-02 19:16:00 I keep getting these error messages and i don't exactly know what they mean. One says Critical Error: hard drive critical error. The other one says Critical Error: Damaged hard drive clusters detected.

Also this windows repair thing pops up when my computer boots up and runs a scan and tells me all these things are wrong .

The second is spyware.
The first - I'd take a look in Event Viewer - System. If you see lots of disk errors listed, I'd be worried about the hard drive failing.
