Even worse, a few years ago on Outrageous Fortune, a PC box was called a HARD DRIVE. It pissed me off. you mean the files are IN the computer? Hopefully today finds her happy with her $28, P4, 3.0GHz, 1.5 GB RAM, 8800GT "hard drive". Wow, I can't believe you just gave away a computer of that spec; it is about double the spec of my daily use main computer. |

They make it plain that they wish to remain ignorant as if it was a very difficult subject. They will tell you it's a youngsters' past time and that they are too old to learn about computers. "Besides," they say, "what would I want with a computer?" which is most probably correct. No point in having a computer if you don't have a use for it. |

Yep and I have one in the garage: very handy to lux the floor when I make a mess. :D Great machines. :cool: |

You're asking them how many lights are showing on the modem, and they're describing the power and HDD lights on the PC.
