Reported by component: Processor Core Error Source: Machine Check Exception Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error Processor ID: 0 The details view of this entry contains further information. This is what i see in event viewer. Any ideas to narrow down the cause? This is a pretty new laptop...and i cant afford to send it into servicing now.I've moved this post into this thread. 1192289	2011-04-15 08:06:00	Whats the specs of this laptop? And whats the model / brand? Everything seems to point to faulty hardware / maybe CPU / over clocking / overheating. 1192291	2011-04-15 09:54:00	It s a bit small . What file does it say is the cause . Is 124 the only stop error that bluescreenview shows? Its not one of the affected sandybridge systems is it .
