That means its not getting a connection usually - Go into the Device manager and check it the LAN connection has not been disabled.

Right click My computer/ properties / Hardware Tab Device manager - locate the Network Adapter.

Also check on the actual adapter - from the network settings, right click it, make sure its enabled.
