| 1191590 | 2011-04-03 23:00:00 | Temps have been normal. 2 of the 4 external fans stopped working and temps increased minimally. it started freezing about 2 weeks after loss of fans. I'm still tempted to ask what temperature your CPU and GPU are *actually* sitting at while gaming. You may be surprised. ValueRam is Kingston, it's budget, but good :) |

These things were locked for a reason, some cores aren't stable enough without adequate voltage or they are just too defective to be enabled. I was lucky- the one i got was stable, and if a day's testing with Prime95 doesnt prove it, i dont know what does! Will check RAM specs when it gets home... installing all of those windows updates that annoy the heck outta ya! ill see if that works first, and if not ill play around with the BIOS ;) |
