Good points.
"taxboy4" - these features are now on most all tv's, so it is a good idea to ensure your new tv has them. If you don't think you will connect your new tv to the internet or view pics and vids off a USB, you may well do so in the future.

As far as getting an LCD set with 100 or 200 Hz, take the time to view the differences between 50, 100, and 200 Hz - I did this at various shops, including a comparison with plasma sets (600 Hz); most of the time I could not see any difference but there were indeed certain times (e.g. the camera panning a scene and scrolling text of the credits of a film) when 50 Hz was 'jagged'. Surprisingly I did see jaggedness with some of the plasma sets. Our new LCD is 100 Hz with LG's version of "Motion Flow" and I have not noticed any jaggedness at all. However it is a personal preference and as 'CyberHubHost' says, it may not be worth the extra cost to you.
