| 1192642 | 2011-04-06 23:17:00 | I am using WS_FTP95 LE to transfer files to my host website. I get an indication that the updated file has been transferred but when I load the webpage, nothing has been changed. I have cleared my Firefox cache in case the old pages are still there. Anyone any suggestions. Gary |

The website (destination file) is an existing functional site (www.foreststay.com) that I was trying to update. I have changed the computer files (pages) using Dreamweaver 4 and use these as the pages that I want to transfer to update the website. The details changed are only minor. The pages to be updated already exist on the website and have the same names as the computer files. I haven't had to delete these in the past. The transfer usually changes/updates them. Cheers Gary |

| 1192645 | 2011-04-07 03:57:00 | Why not use Dreamweaver 4's built-in functionality to edit "directly on the server" instead? | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||

| 1192649 | 2011-04-07 12:13:00 | Make sure that FTP client is set at 'passive transfer', also that the file names are the same case as in the menu, Linux server is case sensitive, Windows is not. Does your home page 'index.html' display Ok? |
