We got lured into having our tolls, phone line and internet with Slingshots with cheaper prices. Now I wish I had stayed as we were WXC internet, Slingshot tolls, and Telecom Phoneline. I had a problem connecting up with a phone number so I phoned 123 reporting a faut, was fantastic help from telecom evn though the number I was ringing was not a telecom number and I was not a telecom customer. Slingshot was totally crap dealing with the problem with more excuses than a politician. This is a far cry from Telecoms mobile operation routed via the Phillipines. |

| 1156992 | 2010-11-27 19:56:00 | I too have had hideous dealings with Slingshit, They are a bunch of psychotic clowns, abusive, unreasonable and inept. My dealings with them were 4 years ago The shortest time on hold was 45 mins It took them nearly 4 weeks to get my phone working again During this time they left several messages on my cellphone which claimed the problem was me not clearing messages The issue was actually incorrectly installed jumpers in the exchange following a Telecom "upgrade" I had advised them of this as the probable cause yet they did nothing to get the Telecom servicemen to check this for more than 3 weeks The so called help desk were abusive and deliberately unhelpful. I advise all who consider using Slingshit to avoid them like the plague! |

| 1156993 | 2010-11-27 21:54:00 | In February my 12 month contrat with slingshot is up and at that point the Phone Line is going back to Telecom afterall its only another 50c per month. Toll calls and Internet service? Will see whats available at a reasonable price then. Having a reliable phone line is more important, my mate is Chorus engineer he says the same thing that the jobs are easier to do when routed directly from Telecom. |
