2010-11-25 18:59:00 | If I bought a computer today, what advantage (improvements) would there be over one that I bought 4 years ago, for the same price that is? | Cicero (40) | |

2010-11-25 20:19:00 | Depends what you use it for. If its got better hardware / more ram, and its 64 bit. And all you do with it, is browsing, and chatting.Any computer can do that | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2010-11-25 20:27:00 | If you want to upgrade you don't have to buy a new PC. Just change M/B, CPU and RAM for example. You may want to put in a better video card and if so you may need a new PSU. | Snorkbox (15764) | |
2010-11-25 20:32:00 | Thanks lads. I was wondering from the point of view, that some years ago as we all remember they used to notably improve every week, just about, but now it seems improvements seem rather marginal.

So its just a waiting game till it goes. 4 years old is definitely backup everything before exiting computer than weekly. I think moores law has run out of steam as far as processing speed goes. Take my advice with a grain of salt I am a diesel mechanic not a computer expurt. |
