| 1156001 | 2010-11-24 01:36:00 | Not sure if anyone has ever considered playing the game or is playing, but currently Blizzard have a rather good deal on. World of Warcraft at $5 The Burning Crusade at $5 Wrath of the Lich King at $10 In US dollars, but its still very very cheap. The new expansion would set you back a bit more however, but if you were ever interested but the price put you off, well there is something to consider :) More info about it here (wow.joystiq.com). Oh and if you do decide to give it a shot, let me know and we can use the Recruit a Friend feature which gives both parties a few nice bonuses :) |

No raiding (very few people raid classic content), and battlegrounds/arenas dominated by twink toons. The very low fees is Blizzard's (or Activision, oh how I hate you) way of enabling people to buy the new expansion pack and not fork out big money to get the pr-requisites. The $15/month can be reduced a fair bit by buying larger quantities of game time at once (say 6 months at a time). I have no problem with paying for it either, every few months they release new content which is basically like a small expansion pack. Each major expansion pack has huge changes - new level cap, races, classes, spells, etc etc and the patches they release throughout the year include new raids, new gear, new bosses. |
