| 1156495 | 2010-12-02 07:24:00 | The jack points BT is British Telecom, old houses had 3 wires I think the third one was for anti tingle (light ringing) on the old phones. The old fones where of course wired straight into the wall but in the 80s with the breakup of the Post Office the new fones came with a BT plug and the first boxes used all three wires. Some are 3 wire with the third wire not connected. The upto date boxes have a 2 on them made a world of diff on my system when I rewired the house with new wire and new BT boxes. | prefect (6291) | ||

| 1156497 | 2010-12-03 08:16:00 | I am on 20g with telekom then it goes back to dial up speed. Dial up speed from Boer war. Last month the kidz burnt up the 20G in 10 days. When I first saw post i thought you were going to set up a home gym lol Like you Pre, I thought it was how to get fit, so avoided, but then I thought no, if they can get fit, so can I. The I saw it was not so and sad to say, I sighed with relief. |
