| 1193094 | 2011-04-11 00:29:00 | More RAM will improve the over all speed a bit, but I cant see it having a large effect on the internet. I've put Opera on PC's around the same spec's and it works fine. One thing that WILL have had a performance hit - a while back MS brought out some security updates for XP - these caused lower spec XP computers to slow down noticeably. But not the page loading speeds of Browsers. Try disabling Avast - see if the pages load any faster. |
