1193538 2011-04-11 22:50:00 Actually considering the link you posted was to newegg I'm going to assume you are not in New Zealand ? so our prices will be irrelevant to you. As will our estimates as to the value of your old gear.

You should be able to find a GTX 580 from asus or gigabyte at a similar price, the MSI should be ok though if you can't.

1193539 2011-04-11 23:04:00 ok so basically can someone find me a good 1.5 gb graphic card? dx 11 guy4732 (16333)
1193540 2011-04-12 00:16:00 Why do you need 1.5GB? What resolution do you play at? All high-end cards these days are at least 1GB, and that's enough for all resolutions, really, except maybe upwards of 2048xwhatever. qazwsxokmijn (102)

You don't just 'need' 1.5GB when you don't really know WHY you need it in the first place. We're trying to be helpful here, and I'm telling you now if you just feel like you 'need' 1.5GB while not knowing WHY, then you're wasting your time, especially as I will be recommending a GTX560 1GB for your nVidia select-ism and budget. Otherwise I would with ATI and grab a 6950 2GB which will outperform the GTX560.
