| 1192404 | 2011-04-06 05:10:00 | Hi,I'm thinking of up dating my aging laptop, my question is would I gain anything by getting a dual-core as apposed to a single core and are AMD cpu's at all suspect in a laptop? I basically just surf the net play music and the odd movie,not into gaming. Thanks in advance for the answers. |

As for reusing it, you should be able to, its not OEM, so its not legally tied to any one PC, if it complains its already been activated, you simply call MS, and explain it was removed from the original PC/Laptop when sold, and now upgrading another - still only 3 uses total of the license installed. As for the CPU -- any preference of AMD or Intel ? |
