However, not an enviable position for those calling the shots - damned if you do, and damned if you don't. Must admit, this seemed terribly PC, since a century ago guys would have rushed back in for their mates, and would have been using lamps with a flame to light their way. |

I think the mates thing you wrote is right, mateship might be a thing of the past. Whats important now is fluro safety jackets, plastic hard hats, safety harnesses and guards around machine. |
