1194754 2011-04-15 05:21:00 I had a chart in excel 2000, with the x axis running from 1996 t0 2010, and could extend the x axis by a year each year, but the process does not seem to be available in excel 2010. Is there a method without starting from scratch? I can't find anything in help, probably because I don't know what to ask it. Brucem (8688)
1194755 2011-04-15 06:03:00 The spread Sheet isn't locked is it ??

It still works the same - see attachments, I highlighted the first two cells, then dragged them down as shown in the second picture.Works the same in X & Y axis.

Edited: what you can try , is after the last entry, manually add in the next two years, and see if they will drag.

1194756 2011-04-15 11:44:00 Slight opps to my post above  I didn't see you had a chart at first - must stop skim reading.

The charts should still work OK though, since its a common feature lots of places use. See if This Video (www.youtube.com) is of any help.
