1194471 2011-04-14 06:37:00 Hi
I have just installed windows 7 ultimate x64 and am trying to take advantage of the x64 architecture. So does any one know of good audio and video players that come in a x64 version?

Thanks

1194473 2011-04-14 06:43:00 This is x86 and x64 (forum.doom9.org). You probably wont notice anything different from a x86 program tho. Media player classic is also x86 and x64 Speedy Gonzales (78)

1194475 2011-04-14 09:33:00 You can download Shark007 Codecs which have a 64-bit "add-on" which works well. Means that pcuser42 is right and you can use Windows Media Player, or whatever else.

However, there's less to be gained by "the 64-bit architecture" vs GPU acceleration, so I'd focus on that more personally.
