| 1193849 | 2011-04-12 20:35:00 | Last night SWMBO tried to use our printer (Pixma MP140) on my lappie. The printer has not been "installed" on it, it was recognised and did everything needed by right-clicking and selecting. The installation disk, however, did not want to run, and I thought it strange. Any known issues with Win 7 you know of? sarel |

| 1193852 | 2011-04-13 00:26:00 | Windows 7 probably just usued generic drivers for the printer....its good like that...however your install CD probably didnt run as it doesnt have Win7 drivers...Unless you need other printer features you should be good to go.....If you do need scanning etc, get the correct drivers here, BUT as staed, remember to disconnect the printer BEFORE installing www.usa.canon.com Edit - didnt check drivers already linked...sorry! |
