| 1193497 | 2011-04-11 03:36:00 | I am working on a magazine and am using the page numbers feature (Insert>Page Numbers). I want the page numbers to start on the second page as the first is the title, but when I uncheck "Show page numbers on the first page", it does not display them on the title and instead starts them at 2 on the second page where I want them to start. My version of publisher is 2007 |

Its for word, but since its in the same package, it "should" work the same. 1. open your Word 2007 doc 2. In the "HEADER & FOOTER" section of the "INSERT" tab of the Ribbon, click PAGE NUMBER > FORMAT PAGE NUMBER 3. Set the page numbering to start at 0 4. Then click FOOTER > EDIT FOOTER 5. When you do this, the Ribbon changes to "DESIGN" 6. In the "Options" section, place a check in "Different First Page". This will remove the 0 from the first page and start page 2 at 1 |
