1193497 2011-04-11 03:36:00 I am working on a magazine and am using the page numbers feature (Insert>Page Numbers). I want the page numbers to start on the second page as the first is the title, but when I uncheck "Show page numbers on the first page", it does not display them on the title and instead starts them at 2 on the second page where I want them to start.

My version of publisher is 2007

Its for word, but since its in the same package, it "should" work the same.

1. open your Word 2007 doc
2. In the "HEADER & FOOTER" section of the "INSERT" tab of the Ribbon, click PAGE NUMBER > FORMAT PAGE NUMBER
3. Set the page numbering to start at 0
4. Then click FOOTER > EDIT FOOTER
5. When you do this, the Ribbon changes to "DESIGN"
6. In the "Options" section, place a check in "Different First Page".

This will remove the 0 from the first page and start page 2 at 1
