All I can say is that people have been using credit cards for years and it's a cost of doing business. In other words, it's already built into the retail price. Alot of people will want to book travel with credit cards because they get travel insurance built in. If all retailers started this dual pricing, perhaps it would be the nail in the coffin for credit cards. I do concede that credit card companies charge a mint though and this should be checked somehow. |

Agree Basically by using Credit cards to buy goods, we are giving 1-3% to foreign owned banks for no good reason excluding any interest we might pay as individuals. Its kinda like a extra 1-3% tax when you think about it, kiwis are stupidly paying, as above its built into the cost of the goods and consumers pay one way or the other. |
