1158049 2010-12-02 19:51:00 If the government/individuals/businesses/organizations who have private information exposed are innocent they have nothing to fear. zqwerty (97)

1158051 2010-12-02 20:14:00 Thanks Chill. I hadn't originally intended it to be a poll - rather, a chance to get get a discussion going and some grey matter circulating. :)

Actually. there were two questions intended in the first post.

To those who persist in trying to make it personal - "V"

1158052 2010-12-02 20:17:00 Always keen :D

My thoughts: If somebody in a position of power is going to say something they wouldn't want repeated, then they shouldn't be saying it in the first place!
Why? Well think about it, if they wouldn't want it repeated for the world to hear, it's obviously wrong on some level. It's part of the price you pay for being in a position of leadership / power, you have to lead an exemplary life. Don't like the heat? Get out of the fire ...

Agree 100%.

1158053 2010-12-02 21:11:00 There's no need for this to get personal guys, keep it above board yeah? Chilling_Silence (9)

1158055 2010-12-02 21:38:00 It would make a good debate if we could get the people to actually debate rather than sniping from the sidelines. Snorkbox (15764)
1158056 2010-12-02 22:11:00 America (read the USA) prides itself on Freedom of Speech - except of course when they are being painted as the bad guys :( :( Zippity (58)
1158057 2010-12-02 22:32:00 It is not only the USA that is made to look bad.
